From March 21, Ukrainian women and their children will receive non-refundable financial assistance from the charitable crypto fund Unchain Fund on a virtual personal card Unchain Help Card.

The technologies of our Weld Money project became a platform for launching the first crypto card in Ukraine. The cooperation between Weld Money and Unchain Fund now allows you to pay in cryptocurrency like a regular bank card. And with the help of the Ukrainian UNEX Bank, the funds are immediately credited in UAH to the virtual payment card Unchain Help Card, issued by Unex Bank with the support of MasterCard.

The number of women to whom the fund can provide funding is limited by the amount of cryptocurrency income in the fund. Thanks to the crypto donations already received, the Unchain Fund has the opportunity to finance up to 10,000 ID cards. So far, the Unchain Fund has issued more than 4,000 cards, and the number of applications already exceeds the fund’s capacity. Now the Unchain Fund continues to raise funds in cryptocurrency to be able to help more Ukrainian families.

“Unchain Fund aims to unite the cryptocurrency world and Ukrainians in need. To do this, the fund and its partners have created the first virtual payment card, thanks to which cryptocurrency donations can be obtained in state currency, here and now. For example, a mother who was forced to leave everything, to save herself and her children, received help in essence from people from all over the world who will donate cryptocurrency to our fund. We want a mother in a critical situation, in which a child who cannot provide the children with the most necessary things because of the war, can receive funds without intermediaries. We do not have the opportunity to provide financial assistance to every child in Ukraine, but we continue to raise funds to support as many women as possible“
- said Oleksiy Meretskyi, one of the founders of Weld Money and the Unchain Fund.
